Advanced Feature: Online Quote Approval

Do you need to gain third party approval of a quote before you can purchase spares, for example from an Asset Manager, Owner, or End Client?

Our platform allows you to build and share an online quotation for third party approval. The approver can review the parts you have selected and either approve, comment on, or reject the purchase.

How it Works

• Fill your shopping cart as normal then click 'Share Quote for Approval'
• Enter the email address of the approver, and an optional message.
• Add your preferred mark-up to cover your costs.
• The approver will not see your purchase cost - only the final price after mark-up.

Approval Stage

• The link takes the approver to a secure online portal to see the Quotation.
• The approver can see the parts selected, the total price after mark-up, and any comments you have added.
• Once approved, you will receive a notification with a verified timestamp of the approval.

Additional Features

• Add other costs to the quote that are not fulfilled by Spares for Solar, such as labour, plant hire, etc.
• Set default approvers and standard mark-up rates depending on your contract, client or site.
• Approvers receive an email from Spares for Solar. Alternatively, you can paste a link into your own email.
• Optionally, the portal can be branded with your own logo and name: your-company.sparesforsolar.com
• Include your own tailored terms and conditions in quotes, customised by contract, customer, or site.
• If required, insist the approver enters a Purchase Order number before granting approval.
• No sign up is required for third parties to approve your quote. Optionally, Third Parties can sign up for an account to track their approval history, further enhancing the process.
• With your agreement, Spares for Solar can automatically despatch the parts following third party approval.
